About the Company
Advantage Appraisals is an auto damage appraisal company based in Calgary, Alberta Canada started in 2008. My name is Dwight Essex. I have been in the body repair industry since 1976. I have over 25 years independent and insurance appraisal experience, so I have a unique perspective to the appraisal needs of insurance companies.
I am a Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman in Auto Body Repair and worked in the trade for over 10 years.
I have kept current with industry training and have achieved ICAR Platinum status.
I am a certified instructor in Auto Body Repair and have in instructed for 5 years at SAIT and at SIAST in Saskatchewan.
